Encouragement of Plurilingualism

Do you know the word "plurilingualism"?
This is not the same as "multilingualism," which is when multiple languages simply exist side-by-side in a society with no mutual exchanges. "Plurilingualism" instead refers to the coexistence and interaction of languages brought about by each person, who to a greater or lesser degree learn several languages and show a mutual understanding of the culture behind these languages.
Let's acquire plurilinguistic skills that enable us to respect people with different cultural and linguistic backgrounds by mastering multiple languages, understanding numerous cultures, and appropriately distinguishing between these.
